He further stated, "No aid trucks have been allowed into the city since the military operation started one month ago."
"There are still bodies we cannot retrieve from areas under Israeli control," he said.

Locals describe that from 21:30 local time on the previous day until dawn, shelling and bombing struck several parts of the Gaza City.
- Shelling concentrated on the southern and western parts factory district, and university area, then came intense shelling in that district.
- Afterwards, air raids targeted al-Tuffah and the government security building.
- In the late night, military aircraft attacked that area, the Beach Camp, and al-Jalaa, while mortar fire struck the street near the roundabout and the medical facility.
