Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Shoreline
An aircraft hovering over a crowded coastal coastline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a row of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Videos shared on the internet capture the aircraft beginning to twirl over the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palms and a staircase near the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Update
The Huntington Beach fire department said five individuals were taken to hospital involving two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were hurt. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
