England Team Selection Revealed: Jude and Foden Omitted, Saka Makes Comeback
The England manager has opted to stick with the same England squad that secured victory against Andorra and delivered an impressive performance in Serbia during the previous international break, leaving no room for the Real Madrid star and the Manchester City attacker in his selection for the forthcoming friendly against the Welsh side and the World Cup qualifier in the Baltic nation.
Despite Foden making a strong case for a return to the squad after rediscovering his form at Manchester City, and Jude Bellingham having returned for Real Madrid following a surgical procedure, the national team manager has decided against including two of the nation's biggest offensive stars. Bellingham has been in the starting lineup just a single time for his club since his comeback.
The England boss has made room for Bukayo Saka, who is back to fitness and has been reinstated in place of his unavailable club colleague the sidelined player. The experienced attacker has not received a return to the squad.

Tuchel expressed his admiration for the vibrancy in last month's squad and appears determined to keeping the same atmosphere. Tino Livramento, who featured at left-back in the convincing victory in Serbia, has dropped out due to a knee injury. The manager has not called up a direct replacement for the Newcastle player but has selected John Stones, who had to pull out last month. He has discussed the centre-back's importance for England and has suggested using him in midfield.
No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was called up in the previous squad but pulled out due to injury and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Tuchel said: “It was only three weeks since the last camp and the last win, the latest display, so the consideration was why not select the same group in because they set the standard. The focus now is on building routines out of it. We have regrettably a couple of fitness issues at the moment with Livramento and Madueke and we welcome of course the Arsenal forward in to replace Madueke. Jarell Quansah was a late call-up last time; he will stay in camp.”
