The Covent Garden Hotel's Saketini – Recipe
For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It’s light, aromatic and sippable, and matches wonderfully with parmesan chunks.
Japanese-Inspired Martini
Serves 1
30ml gin – opt for a crisp gin variety
15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine
15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally
Pour the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake into a shaker, toss in plenty of ice cubes and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Pour into a frosty martini glass and enjoy.
